C.O.P. efficiency of our
Pool Heat Pumps
The efficiency of a Heat Pump for the pool is expressed in terms of the efficiency C.O.P. (Coefficient of Performance). The higher the C.O.P. value, the greater the electricity savings. For a Pool Heat Pump, this value represents the ratio of electricity consumption to the heat output via the heat exchanger.
The C.O.P. value of up to 15 for our pool heat pumps means that one kilowatt hour of electricity is converted into up to 15 kilowatt hours of heat output. For 15 kW of energy, you only pay 1 kW; the remaining 14 kW are extracted from the ambient air by the heat pump used in the pool, which consumes 1 kW.
